N-0 Games: every perfect season format

An N-0 game is a simple bet: take a season, win every single match, lose none. Fans turned that idea into a family of roster-building sims β€” spin a team, draft its all-time squad, and see if it survives a perfect run. Here is the whole family.

8-0 game β€” the World Cup perfect tournament

Since the World Cup expanded to 48 teams in 2026, the champion plays exactly eight matches: three in the group stage, then the round of 32, round of 16, quarter-final, semi-final and final. Win all eight and you have an 8-0 β€” a perfect tournament. Our World Cup 8-0 game is live and free: player values come from real World Cup statistics, era-normalized so a 1958 legend and a current star are comparable, and no single pick guarantees the run. There is also a daily challenge (same spin for the whole world) and a 0-8 reverse mode where you try to lose every match on purpose.

7-0 game β€” the 2022-format run

Before 2026, a World Cup champion played seven matches: three group games and four knockout rounds from the round of 16. That is why older discussions talk about the "7-0" β€” the 2022 winners went through seven games, never eight. If you want to chase that idea today, the 8-0 game covers it with one extra round of drama in the 2026 bracket.

82-0 game β€” where the genre started

The NBA version created the format: draft a five from a randomly spun franchise and try to win all 82 regular-season games. It proved how addictive "spin, draft, sim" can be β€” and also showed the genre's weak spots, like single unbeatable picks that solve the meta. Our NBA 82-0 is planned with era normalization and capped player contributions so no pick is an auto-win.

20-0 game β€” the NFL perfect season

Football's take on the idea: run the regular season and the entire playoff without losing once. No NFL team has done it since the schedule expanded. Our NFL 20-0 game is live and free β€” same engine, same rules: real stats, era-aware ratings, no login. Spin one of all 32 franchises, draft its all-time roster and chase the perfect season.

38-0 game β€” the impossible Premier League season

A 38-0 would mean winning every match of an English top-flight season. Not even Arsenal's 2003-04 Invincibles managed it β€” they went unbeaten but drew twelve times. That is exactly what makes it a tempting format. It is on our wishlist; if you want the 38-0 next, tell us on the current games' feedback channels.

Why "N-0"?

The name is just the dream scoreline of a season: N wins, zero losses. Every game in this family shares the same loop β€” spin a random team and era, build the best squad the pool allows, and let the simulation decide. The fun is that "best on paper" is not always enough: eras matter, role players matter, and one bad night ends the run.
